Antelopes eating cantaloupes

Fountain - A Poem with similes and alliterations

A flowing fountain gushing gently
Falling softly like autumn leaves
Standing under the swaying trees
The winds whipping up a gentle breeze

A squirrel sits perched upon it
Getting wet, but just a bit
Looking at the cat
Thinking what a horrible git

The winds increase
The ripples of the water shimmer
More than ever before
The squirrel jumps onto the floor

Kangaroo

I don't know why they keep the kangaroo
In a zoo
A baby kangaroo is called a joey
They don't stay in a place that's showy

They live in Australia
Their scientific type is animalia
They can jump and leap
But they will never land in a heap

Like you or me
They don't have a big family
Some types live in trees
Where they enjoy the breeze

The joey lives in the pouch
They can't sleep on a couch
Like me or you
They don't moo.

I Love Candy

I love candy
I think it is dandy
I love it
If there is candy around I can't sit
I will get into a fit
If i can have a bit
I will love you
So give me some, please do.

Holi

Holi is coming near
Bringing fun and cheer
Its festival of fun
Lets laugh and run
In the heat of the sun
Get squirted with a water gun

If you don't like it outside
Run inside and hide
Eat lots of gujia and chaat
But that is just a start
Of everything you can fill in your cart

You can never use water balloons
Keep in mind that even fun has rules
Girls put oil in you hair
And if you dare

The Train

Here is a train,
It is going through rain.
In the midst of a storm,
A train will keep you warm.

It will go up a mountain
And come down to a fountain.
When you are frightened,
The train will keep you brightened.

A Funny Rose

I saw a funny rose
It was trying to blow its nose
It coughed and sneeze(d)
In the chilly breeze

It was winter season
So the rose had a reason
To feel chilly
Because its frock was thin and frilly!

My Life If I was Famous

My life if I was famous would be bizarre, with my personal life on on side and on the other it would be a little too difficult. My mom would be shouting at me for not mowing our house's lawn and on the other hand my secretary would be complaining about how there is no sugar left and from yet another side my coach will be yelling at me for being late and from the last side my invention fixer........Anyway, you get the point. That's why I was saying that it would be a little too difficult and I forgot the side my fans want my....please stop me from going off track again.

So with being a world famous athlete, an inventor,candy maker and a normal daughter it is too much. So I guess I could give up a few professions and concentrate on one only. So bye for now friends and if you find a profession I can really concentrate upon please tell me. Thanks for reading!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a big doll
All the ministers of the king
Couldn't make the doll sing

Suddenly one of them thought
Another doll should be bought
But Humpty Dumpty cried a lot
Because another doll could not be bought

They tried to calm him down
But then he broke his crown
The doctor started to frown
Because he had started to drown
In the stuff of the egg
He was soaked till his leg.
